Yoshi! Nintendo just revealed two new titles for the Game Boy Switch Online library

While we await the next title to land in the coveted GameCube library, and just after getting a chance to get an early hands-on look at the new Virtual Boy, Nintendo has just officially revealed a Switch Online February 2026 update with a pair of new additions to the Game Boy library.

Nintendo Classics – February 2026 Game Updates

Nintendo has now taken to its official social channels and its YouTube account to unleash two new titles for the Game Boy Nintendo Classics library. The two new titles land on the heels of the recently released Virtual Boy overview trailer and the debut of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on the Switch 2 GameCube library

Firstly, we are getting Ballon Kid, and secondly Yoshi – a puzzle game developed by Game Freak that initially released way back in 1991.

Yoshi is an action/puzzle game starring Mario’s trusty buddy Yoshi, who has been imprisoned in an egg. Now it’s raining Goombas, Bloopers, and Boo Buddies, and you have to help Mario stop the airborne invasion. As the critters fall, catch them on trays. Stack two of a kind and they both disappear, or capture the whole bunch in between eggshells. When the eggshells match, out hatches Yoshi and up goes your score! The action heats up as the characters fall faster and faster. To save the day, switch and shuffle, and don’t let your piles get too high!
