Tune in to today’s massive 2026 summer Xbox Games Showcase and Gears of War: E-Day Direct

The massive summer Xbox Games Showcase is live today folks. While Xbox has already confirmed that Project Helix (its next-generation console) will not be making an appearance in any significant way today, that means it’s going to be all about the games, and what sounds like a lot of them.

Xbox Games Showcase 2026

Today’s summer Xbox Games Showcase should run for roughly 1 hour or so before Xbox Direct goes live with a dedicated showcase following immediately after the main event for a closer look at the new Gears of War: E-Day.

Emergence Day is upon us. The long awaited Gears of War: E-Day is the new Gears game from The Coalition that was first announced back during 2024’s Xbox showcase. Set 14 years before the events of the first game, we should get a gameplay deep dive, new details, and potentially even more on the origin story this afternoon.

As for the main event, we are expecting to see new things from Bethesda and Activision Blizzard alongside updates and new gameplay from already announced titles like State of Decay 3, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and, the one I’m personally most excited for, Clockwork Revolution. Rumor has it Persona 6 will also be making an appearance during today’s show.

Everything goes live today at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET and you can watch it along with us down below. We will update this post with footage of the biggest announcements and updates as they happen.
