This is not a drill, Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders will officially begin on June 25 as per an official Rockstar announcement.
We had a disappointing false start when Best Buy inaccurately claimed pre-orders were going live last month, but this is the real deal. Rockstar has just taken to its official social platforms to make the announcement alongside the official cover art.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.

It is entirely crazy we didn’t get a new trailer today (outside of the little teaser above), but after this many delays, and the total fake-out from Best Buy last month, let’s just be happy this thing is finally arriving.
Grand Theft Auto VI is officially set to release on November 19, 2026.
