Apple’s iPad mini hits best price in months from $399 for Prime Day (Nearly $100 off)

Day 2 of the 2026 Amazon Prime Day sale is now live with a loads of new discounts. One of which is this near $100 price drop on the most affordable current-generation Apple iPad mini from $399 – it has been a long while since we have seen a solid deal on the mini.

As part of its Prime Day sale, Amazon is now offering the latest iPad mini starting from $399.99 shipped in all four colors. Regular $499, this is just shy of $100 off the list price and the best we can find.

Apple’s iPad mini has been down this low before, but we have been waiting on a solid deal for months now. With many of the configurations being out of stock for last few months, Amazon has replenished its mini offerings and is now delivering solid deals for Prime Day:

We did catch this same price drop a few times earlier in the year, but even then stock was limited. Much like we have seen with the Mac mini lately, the venerable iPad mini has become somewhat hard to come by with a solid discount – they are at a passable $50 off in the Best Buy Tech Fest sale right now.

These deals also join some price drops and return lows on the 2026 M4 iPad Air lineup for Prime Day and you can scope those out below:
