The biggest gameplay reveal in, quite possibly, history is set to go live this afternoon and Grand Theft Auto VI takes over Netflix in a first-of-its-kind partnership (i.e Netflix paid a boat load to get 6-hour exclusivity for the GTA VI reveal that will be all over the internet the second it goes live). We know all this already, but Rockstar has delivered some details on how folks are allowed to stream this thing and Netflix just published a new article on today’s main event.

Over on the official Netflix news stream, a new post just landed to detail today’s showcase.
It is largely filled with all the stuff we already know – the November release date, 13 years in the making, first-of-its-kind, cultural moment, blah, blah blah. All very true, of course, but Netflix did just confirm today’s extended look is “entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.”
The new iteration in the blockbuster series comes 13 years following the debut of Grand Theft Auto V,the same year that Netflix was beginning its push into original programming. Captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, this extended look at the next Grand Theft Auto showcases the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.
While we already assumed today’s extended look was going to be our first proper look at gameplay, the wording here from Netflix seems to suggest the entire show is just gameplay captured on PlayStation 5.
So no talking? Or info from the developers, or anything like that I guess? Good, boot the thing up, hit record, and put it on the internet, we are ready and that’s, more less, exactly what everyone wants.
I might have preferred some details from Rockstar here, followed, of course, by raw footage straight from the game, but this sounds like a very good thing to me.
