Here we go folks! Nintendo has just officially announced the long-awaited, highly-anticipated Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Direct, and a second more traditional Direct show the very next day. This is huuuuge!
After months of speculation and rumors, Nintendo finally revealed the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake with a very short teaser trailer.
We have been waiting for more ever since and now, one can only assume, that day will be on September 8 at 7 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET when Nintendo will host a dedicated Zelda Direct. Nintendo says the show will run for roughly 30 minutes.
The very next day on September 9, Nintendo will broadcast a more traditional Nintendo Direct showcase at the same time – 7 a.m. PT/10:00 a.m. ET. This one will run for roughly 45 minutes.
This news comes by way of the official Nintendo Today app and will hit official social channels any minute now.

Immediately following the September 9 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Treehouse will go live with gameplay from the titles featured in the show – there is no indication whether or not this will include titles from the Zelda show, or just games for the September 9 presentation.
