In this week’s Best of 9to5Toys: Best Buy stole the show with its Presidents Day sale and $25 off $100 Visa Checkout promotion, the gorgeous Green Riding Hood was the App of the Week, and Apple’s new BeatsX earphones got its first discount…

It was a big week for new product as we head into the New York Toy Fair, with the popular Simon Memory game getting a VR-inspired reboot and Hasbro is diving into the world of STEM education with its new Proto Max iOS-connected robot dog. Philips unveiled a sleek new monitor and Canon took the wraps off its latest T7i DSLR camera.

I checked out Haiku Home’s line of smart ceiling fans that includes Alexa, Nest and ecobee3 compatibility. You can see the full review here.

On the deal side of things, it was Best Buy’s show this week as I mentioned above. Deep discounts on MacBook Air, Google Home, Chromecast and WD’s latest 4TB external hard drive. We also have an exclusive promo code for Koogeek’s HomeKit-enabled smart outlet and the iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case from Apple is on sale too. And, BeatsX gets its first discount at $125.
