DODOcase's new iPhone 8/Plus waxed canvas & leather cases available now

Just about all of our favorite case makers have now unveiled next generation accessories for Apple’s new iPhone 8, Plus and X. Those include Nomad, Pad & Quill and Pelican just to name a few, but there was still one major player missing from the mix. DODO is well known for its high-quality or gorgeous leather and premium materials covers for Apple’s electronics, and it has now finally unleashed its latest.

While we still have to wait to hear what the company has up its sleeve for the new edge-to-edge, Face ID-controlled anniversary model iPhone, its new iPhone 8/Plus models are now up for sale. Made from materials like premium leather, waxed canvas and antique brass fixtures, the new lineup includes everything from wallet and card carriers to the company’s bespoke options and BOOKcases.

At the bottom-end of the range (at least in terms of price) is the $34.95 leather CARDcase for iPhone 8/Plus. Described as “life changing convenience”, it features a flexible, crack-proof rubber tray as well as leather backing and a card pouch (holds up to 4 cards). It is DODO’s lowest profile iPhone case to date and comes in both black or brown.

Minimalism perfected & convenience redefined! Barely adding to the naked profile of the iPhone, the Leather CARDcase is for the true minimalist who would almost opt to go without a phone case, but wants a little something. The leather iPhone wallet case is our slimmest iPhone case yet, but adds function and convenience you can’t live without!

The BOOKcase Metallicas Collection ships in three interesting colors (Copper , Pewter and Graphite Satin) at $44.95. The handcrafted book-style design features back and front cloth panels, a Pergamena leather spine (fold-over & lay-flat view) as well as a camera-hole cutout and an elastic enclosure.

The iPhone BOOKcase Metallics Collection is available for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well as the brand new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The BOOKcase was designed to protect and disguise your phone with form, function and fashion in mind. Handcrafted in San Francisco, each iPhone case features a book-like exterior made from high quality fabric, a leather spine, and an elastic closure.

We are also getting the $69.95 waxed canvas and leather Phone Clutch, the $49.95 Durables Wallet case in sage, midnight and navy, and the bespoke “design your own” iPhone 8/Plus BOOKcase options (starting at $49.95).

Everything in the new line is available for purchase starting today, but you should expect a bit of a lag on the shipping time. DODOcase says shipping will begin 2-3 weeks from September 23rd. While it might be smart to pickup a cheaper case to keep things secure in case your gorgeous DODO cover doesn’t ship in time, these are certainly the kind of cases that are worth the wait.
