While pre-orders on the Black Friday exclusive Link Edition green 2DS handheld have now kicked off, the New Nintendo 2DS XL Poké Ball Edition is now available for purchase. While it may not end up as limited as the Black Friday Link green model, there’s a good chance this one could be hard to come by down the line.
You can secure one of the best special edition Nintendo handhelds around right now for $159.99 at Amazon, Best Buy and GameStop.
The gorgeous 2DS features a split red and white colorway with black accent lines to perfectly resemble an actual Poké Ball. The center portion on the front actually extrudes from the 3DS case itself. While that Pikachu 3DS Edition Nintendo released a while back was pretty sweet, it’s got nothing on the Poké Ball design. It is possible, but it’s hard to imagine seeing a deep deal on this particular release for Black Friday.
And don’t forget, the new Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games are set for release on November 17th. Prime members can still pre-order them for $32.99 shipped (Reg. $40).
