Classic games can sometimes be hard to find at affordable prices. I’ve long been a fan of Project Cars, DOOM, Battlefield 4, and then there are series like Uncharted and Last of Us that all of my gaming friends try to get me to play. Paying full retail for these titles isn’t ever enjoyable years after release, and Sony realizes this. With that information, Sony has announced PlayStation Hits, a selection of well-known and best-selling titles for just $19.99 each, read on for more information.

PlayStation Hits includes both award-winning titles and regular family-friendly favorites, according to Sony. This program is designed to be “an incredible lineup of PS4 games that are easy on the eyes, and easy on the wallet too.”

These titles are to be available online for digital download or at retailers for $19.99. You’ll know if a title is a PlayStation Hit by the red packaging instead of the regular Blue, and there will be red banners in the PlayStation store to denote a Hit title.

The program goes into effect on June 28 in the US, Canadian readers will have select titles from this program available, detailed on the Canada specific landing page.

Sony has said they will continue to add to the PlayStation Hits lineup so you can expect more games to come as the year progresses. With classics like DOOM and Battlefield 4 already included in PlayStation hits, I can’t wait to see what other games are added in the future.
