Trusted accessory-maker Oittm is rolling out a new Apple Watch dock this week that puts a retro twist on the popular wearable. While we’ve seen vintage Mac-inspired docks before from the likes of Elago and others, this option from Oittm turns its attention elsewhere.
Designed to mimic old school radios and TVs, this new dock puts your Apple Watch in nightstand mode for easy viewing. It also has a unique gel pad on the bottom that allows it stick to just about any surface, including your car dashboard. More below.
Oittm has been cranking out Apple Watch docks for some time in a variety of styles. This is the first such offering that’s gone the vintage route. They are really pushing it as a car-friendly accessory, but I don’t know too many people that would utilize an Apple Watch in this manner. Nonetheless, this new dock from Oittm would be a fun addition to any setup.
One feature worth noting is the “NanoPad” on the bottom which can be re-washed for multiple uses. Its sticky design is perfect for attaching your dock to just about any surface.
