Marshall unveils revamped Bluetooth speaker and headphone lineup w/ iconic styling

This morning, Marshall is announcing a completely refreshed Bluetooth audio lineup that includes three new speakers and a pair of wireless earbuds. Long known for its iconic styling and quality, Marshall has recently made a significant push into the consumer market. We recently reviewed its Kilburn II speaker, calling it ‘delightful and approachable’. So naturally, today’s news is of interest. Head below for more.

Marshall unveils refreshed Bluetooth speaker lineup

Marshall’s new Bluetooth speaker lineup consists of the Acton II, Stanmore II and Woburn II. Each of which are follow-ups to the previous generation. In typical Marshall fashion, we’re seeing gorgeous gold styling and pro-grade casing replicas of its higher-end offerings.

Each speaker comes equipped with a bass reflex cabinet system that holds class D amplifiers and “custom-tuned drivers”. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs with the free smartphone app for customizable EQ and the ability to set up as stereo or mono, depending on your preferences.

The Acton II Bluetooth is the smallest speaker in today’s announcement. It will retail for $249 with dual tweeters and a subwoofer. Marshall promises a “well-balanced” sound despite this being the smallest of the lot being introduced today.

Marshall’s mid-range offering is the Stanmore II. Nearly twice the size as the smaller Acton II, it adds two 15W amps for the tweeters and a larger 50W that powers the integrated subwoofer. Stanmore II will sell for $349 and comes in two different colors: white and black.

Rounding out today’s announcement is the Woburn II. The largest speaker of the bunch looks most similar to pro-grade amps, both in size and design. Jumping to the high-end model delivers Marshall’s most full-range experience with dual subwoofers and over 110W of power. It’s available in black and will be listed at $499, which is a hefty price tag for any Bluetooth speaker. But for Marshall die-hards, it may be worth it.

Marshal takes the wraps off Minor II Bluetooth speakers

Marshall first announced its Minor in-ears back in 2011. In that time, wireless connectivity and Bluetooth have taken off. Marshall has wisely made that addition to its new Minor II earbuds. Up to 12-hours of battery life and a unique multi-function control knob highlight the list of features here. Marshall also has a pretty cool magnetic pause function, which stops the music when both earbuds are placed together.

Of course, the iconic Marshall styling has translated to the new Minor IIs. Available in three different colors, these new earbuds will retail for $129.

All of today’s new announcements are now available for purchase direct from Marshall.
