Amazon offers the Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 Portable Bluetooth Wireless Speaker in four colorways for $129.99 shipped. That’s good for a $20 discount and is the first notable price drop that we’ve tracked since its release earlier this year. BOOM 3 features IP67 waterproofing, 15 hours of battery life and more. Reviews are still coming in, but so far it carries a 4.7/5 star rating. In our hands-on review we referred to the BOOM 3 as the “cream of the crop when it comes to the portable Bluetooth speaker market.”
If you don’t need the premium 360-degree sound and other features that the BOOM 3 offers, there are plenty of waterproof speakers at Amazon for a fraction of the price. If you want to stick with the Ultimate Ears branding, the WONDERBOOM sells for $74. But to save even more, Anker’s highly-rated SoundCore Speaker will only set you back $40.
