Jetson Canyon folding electric scooter hits $387 (Save $325), more commuter options from $312

Amazon is offering the Jetson Canyon Folding Electric Scooter for $421.64 shipped. Down from $713, with a higher $900 MSRP that we haven’t seen the price return to since the start of the new year, this is only the seventh discount we’ve tracked through 2023 and into 2024. It amounts to a 41% markdown (53% markdown from its MSRP) that saves you $291 ($478 from its original pricing) and drops costs to the fifth-lowest price we have tracked – $107 above the all-time low from Christmas sales. You’re looking at a commuter option that provides 15.5 MPH top speeds and a 22-mile travel range on a single charge thanks to its 500W motor and the 48V battery. Its three speed modes can dramatically alter its mileage, as the lower settings drain the battery far slower for prolonged rides – all controlled through the integrated LCD display. Like most electric scooters, this one also sports a folding design that makes storage and transport far less annoying when not in use.

There are a few other options in the Jetson e-scooter pull to choose from for your commuter needs, like the Knight Electric Scooter for $365, down from $500, that gives you an increased speed of 20 MPH for a slightly lower mileage of 16 miles on a single charge. If you’re looking for a model with added security features, there’s the Shield Ultra-Lock Electric Scooter for $336, down from $600. It has an integrated retractable cable lock, a lockable compartment to hold Bluetooth tracking devices, plus an electric lock on the scooter itself with NFC and/or passcode entry via the companion app. For an all-around cheaper model that gets you from point A to point B, there’s the Eris Folding Electric Scooter for $312, down from $500. Its standard 14 MPH speed with a 12-mile range is ideal with those not travelling too far for work or errands.
