Nintendo has finally announced an official release date for the new Kirby Air Riders (alongside a complete deep dive on the game), and that leaves one major Switch 2 title expected to launch this year without a firm release – Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The game is still expected this year, but we still don’t know exactly when. The game is live on the show floor at gamescom for attendees, but if you can’t make it to Germany and are looking to scratch that Metroid itch before Prime 4 releases, Woot is offering a relatively rare deal on the physical copy of Metroid Dread to tide you over down at $46.99 shipped. This is a regularly $60 title that doesn’t see all that many deals and is now nearly 25% off the going rate.
