The Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebrations continue after the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in theaters this week as a few new collectibles and goodies have surfaced at retail (or will be very soon). Both Best Buy and Target have new Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary collectibles up for grabs, including a pair of game cases (they are sort of like a SteelBook case that holds multiple Switch and Switch 2 cartridges).

Best Buy is now offering a FREE Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary collectible game case with the purchase of any two “Mario and friends” Switch and Switch 2 games. This limited run collectible game case is very much that and is only available in “limited quantities; while supplies last.”

Target has also unleashed a preview of this weekend’s deals and, in it, we are seeing another Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary release. Target is offering (starting this Sunday, according to the ad) a $100 Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary Gift Card with a different Collectible Case as well as a FREE Super Mario Galaxy Movie poster with the “purchase of any Mario game.”
