Ubisoft will officially reveal the new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake today and the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Collector’s Edition has already leaked on Amazon France.
Update: Some reliable sources have now claimed the base edition of the remake will debut at $59.99, but the leaked Collector’s Edition below is going to cost – it is purportedly going to land at $199.99.
Leaks and rumors had been pointing to an upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake for a long while and then more recently members of the media got a sneak peek before Ubisoft made the whole thing official with the announcement of the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: Worldwide Reveal Showcase. It goes live today at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET.
Some images and a short video surfaced online recently, or rather leaked, but Ubisoft’s official Assassin’s Creed X account has since made a statement saying they were from an early build of the game:
Hey! This is footage from an old internal version of the game.
It’s unfortunate it got out, but the good news is you only have to wait one more day for the official reveal
Another thing that leaked before that Ubisoft has said nothing about is the July 9, 2026 release date. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet on this, but that same leak also said Ubisoft would reveal the game this week – we will more than likely know for sure after today’s presentation.
Another thing that will almost certainly be revealed as part of today’s showcase or some point very soon is the new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Collector’s Edition as it has already landed on Amazon France. It comes with a statue, a journal of sorts, a map, and more:

Tune in later today for your first actual look at the new AC Black Flag remake and, presumably more details on the price, collector’s edition, and more:
