Back during the Xbox Partner Preview Showcase we were promised a more in-depth dedicated showcase for SEGA’s upcoming Stranger Than Heaven, and that’s exactly what we are getting today.
Today, Xbox will host a special dedicated to Stranger Than Heaven. The new action-adventure title made an appearance during the early spring Partner Preview, but today we are set for a more in-depth look at, what is for me, one of, if not, the most compelling SEGA projects on the horizon.
Ryu Ga Gotoku is set across “five distinct eras of modern Japan” and in “five entirely separate cities,” but outside of that, some eye-catching cinematics, and quick blasts of gameplay, not a whole lot is known about the title.
That, however, should change tonight to some degree, as we are set for a 30-minute deep dive into the game’s characters, lore, setting, and more “from the developers and cast bringing us this hugely ambitious new title.”
From the 50-year story you’ll play through, to seeing more of the all-star cast shown in the Partner Preview trailer, Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven will offer our most substantial look at the game so far.
Tonight’s Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven showcase is set to broadcast on official Xbox channels starting at 4 p.m. ET/7 p.m. ET and you can tune in along with us below:
5 Cities, 5 Eras, 1 show. Xbox Presents: A Special Look at STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is coming May 6th at 4 PM PDT. The broadcast will reveal more on the world, the story, and the intertwined cast and characters from SEGA Ryu Ga Gotoku’s STRANGER THAN HEAVEN over the course of around 30 minutes.
