Nintendo has just decided to reveal a new updated for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While not some giant expansion you might be hoping for, the now 3-year old release is getting an epic new amiibo though and some in-game goodies along with it.
Today is, in fact, the third anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Nintendo has decided to celebrate with the reveal and upcoming launch of the new Mineru’s Construct amiibo.
Arguably one of the more epic amiibo in recent memory and certainly from the Tears of the Kingdom series, the ancient Zonai figurine lands as a large-scale collectible for fans of the series and one that might not have made much sense releasing at launch anyway – the Construct, as those familiar with the game will already know, appears late game and might have been a bit of a spoiler.
It has posable arms and includes some in-game content when you tap the Mineru’s Construct on your Switch. There are some general items available to aid you in your quest but it also comes with a chance to score a new paraglider skin with a Construct-inspired design and glowing accents.

This figure has articulated arms that you can move around and pose how you like. It also lets you receive random items in the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom games. You may even receive a special fabric for Link’s paraglider in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Get cool in-game extras with amiibo accessories and compatible games. Just tap an amiibo accessory to the NFC touchpoint to enjoy fun in-game extra features in compatible games on the Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch 2 systems.
The new Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Mineru’s Construct amiibo is to release on September 17, 2026 and is already available for pre-order on the Nintendo Store.
