Nintendo officially reveals Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2

Nintendo just wrapped up its big summer Nintendo Direct and just as we hoped, it capped the show off with the official reveal of The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake.

It’s official folks, one of the most beloved Zelda games, and, frankly, one of the most beloved games period is coming back for Switch 2.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake will officially release on Nintendo Switch 2 this year, and you can scope out today’s teaser trailer below:

As you can see above, this is a very short teaser, but we do get what looks like our first glimpse of the art direction Nintendo is taking on this one, straying from the new era Breath of the Wild look for something that looks more akin to what I think most folks would have hoped for.

This is effectively the only image we have of the art direction here:

We will have to wait for information “at a later date” to get a release date, a closer look, and more details though.
