Sony expands WH-1000XM6 ANC headphone lineup with new Olive Gray edition [Launch deal]

Sony has now officially unveiled the new Olive Gray edition of its WH-1000XM6 ANC headphones with a launch deal (also available at Best Buy, but there is no deal there). The brand has been dishing up a series of new colorways for its best headphones since release in mid 2025, but it’s not done quite yet.

Sony launches new Olive Gray WH-1000XM6 ANC headphones

Following the release of the Sand Pink treatment, Sony unveiled a new Sandstone paint job back in May of this year, and now it is ready to continue its exploration of the sort of slightly muted earthy color palette with the new Olive Gray:

This is very much just a new color treatment for the existing flagship XM6 over-ears – they are otherwise identical to the other sets that have been available for some time now.

The new Olive Gray edition will also launch at the same $459 list price and are available for purchase directly from the official Sony site starting today with a launch deal at $399. We presume they will also land on Amazon at some point (if they aren’t already) where you’ll find the other sets sitting down at $398 shipped, but it does appear Best Buy is getting some amount of exclusivity at this point on the Olive Gray color.

Just be sure to also scope out the ongoing Back to School sale Sony is running right now while you’re at it – the MX6 are marked down to the same price on the official site alongside a breadth of smart TVs, mirrorless camera, and more.
