The official Nintendo Switch 2 price hike is set to go live in just over a week’s time, and Nintendo has just officially unveiled a pair of new console bundles with the increased sticker. If you’re looking to land a Switch 2 this year, you’ll want to buy one now before the price goes up folks.
Two New Nintendo Switch 2 Bundles – Mario Kart World and Switch Sports Resort
Nintendo has now issued an official press release to announce a pair of new Switch 2 bundles set for release “in the coming months.”
Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle a digital version of the Mario Kart World game and a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership for $549.99. This one is expected to launch in late September.
That’s technically a savings of $37.98 of buying everything individually, but you can score Switch 2 for $450 right now and the Mario Kart World bundle carried a $500 MSRP before the upcoming price hike. This new bundle is more than the price of buying a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World individually right now.
The second of the new bundles will land on October 22: The new Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle includes code for a digital version of the Nintendo Switch Sports Resort game and a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership at $529.99.
Again, that’s technically a savings of $27.98 once the new price increase comes into play, but not right now.
As previously announced, the suggested retail price of a standard Nintendo Switch 2 system will be $499.99 as of Sept. 1.
The price increase isn’t all that crazy, but we are still talking about around $50 bucks here and you can land a Switch 2 right now for $449 or less:
- Nintendo Switch 2 $449
- Nintendo Switch 2 (Grade A Refurb) $400
- Up to $450 value now, $500 value after the price hike
