Schwinn’s mint green Mendocino Hybrid e-bike cruises back to $699 low with 55-mile range

Amazon is offering the Schwinn Mendocino Adult Hybrid Electric Cruiser Bike for $699 shipped. Down from its newer $900 price tag, with an original $1,700 MSRP that we haven’t seen since last year, it ended 2023 at the $699 low that carried through Black Friday and Christmas sales. In January we saw the price coming close but stopping at $715, with February and March seeing repeating $720 discounts, and today’s deal coming in as the first of 2024 to return costs to the all-time lowest price we have tracked.

This e-bike’s minimalist design is intended to be an affordable commuting solution for everyday people, able to max out at 20 MPH and travel up to 55 miles on a single charge. No matter where you’ve been, no matter where you’re headed, with a twist of its grip shifter, its six-speed drivetrain can provide smooth gear changes for easy adaptation to any terrain you might find yourself on. It comes in a joyous mint green colorway (while the charcoal gray model remains at $900 and the throttle-less matte blue model sits at a higher $1,016 rate.
