LIVE TODAY: Tune in to today’s Nintendo IndieWorld Direct livestream – New Switch 2 games, updates, more

The the 2026 Pokémon Day festivities and Pokémon Presents  (mostly) behind us now, it’s time for today’s Direct. More specifically, and as we reported tomorrow, Nintendo is set to host a new IndieWorld showcase this morning and it goes live very soon.

Nintendo IndieWorld Direct – March 2026

Yesterday morning Nintendo hit us with a surprise announcement for the next IndieWorld showcase to give us a better look at some of the smaller and more unique experiences coming to Switch and Switch 2 this year and beyond – it goes live this morning.

At this point, with major titles from Team Cherry and the Shovel Knight devs making waves (among others) it’s almost hard to even call some of these indies “smaller.” But nonetheless we are in for a good collection of updates and reveals from some of the more artistic and unique developers creating new experiences for Switch gamers this morning.

Nintendo said the livestream will run for 15-minutes, which likely means a more rapid fire selection of updates and maybe even release details on new titles. It all starts at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET and you can watch it along with us down below:

Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
