There’s only one month left before Nintendo Switch 2 consoles get even more expensive. You could hope to get lucky and land one of those very short-lived discounts we caught at Amazon a couple weeks ago, or you could jump on one of the discounts now while you still can.
The Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle is not technically discounted right now at $499. But it includes a FREE game, and a good one at that, and it could effectively be up to $130 less than the price of buying all of this stuff come August 1.
It comes with your choice of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia as a digital game download (that’s a $70 to $80 value right there, depending on the game you choose), and Switch 2 without a game will be $550 in roughly 1 month’s time.
- Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle $499
- Up to $530 value now, up to $580 value after upcoming price hike
Right now, a Switch 2 without a game costs $450. Add that to the $70 to $80 value of the game, and you’re looking at up to $530 worth of stuff for $499.
However, considering the upcoming price hike, this will very soon be worth up to $580 and if you are looking to score a machine this year, it might be a very good idea to score one before the price gets jacked up.
Another option here is to go with this “Grade A refurbished” Nintendo Switch 2 Console + Mario Kart World Bundle over at Woot – you can score it down at $419 Prime shipped.
Clearly a refurbished option with a 90-day warranty instead of the brand new unit above at Amazon with your choice of game, but it is also $80 less expensive.
This bundle could leave you with an effective savings of $130 over the value of this package after the price hike goes live.
There’s truly no telling how discount options will go after the price increase takes hold, but there is certainly a chance the deals start to dry up completely, and especially before the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake lands.
