The Switch 2 leaks aren’t done just yet (and probably never will be) and Diablo VI for Switch 2 is up next. It’s not the Ocarina of Time release date, but we have it on good authority the long-awaited Diablo IV Switch 2 release is all but imminent and now more than likely just over a month away.
We have been hearing about this one for quite a long time now, but Billbil-kun – a particularly reliable insider – now claims the Diablo IV Switch 2 is very close to release.
Some of the other details are still seemingly up in the air, but it looks like Diablo 4 for Switch 2 will carry a $69.99 list price and will land as one of those not so awesome code-in-box releases, as opposed to receiving a proper cartridge – this is more or less par for the course when it comes to third-party Switch 2 ports at this point though.
The release date is still influx, according to the recent leak – it looks to be releasing in mid-September (either on the 15th or 18th) and there’s no details on whether or not the Lord of Hatred DLC will be included.
That date might have you thinking there will be a Nintendo Direct right before that where the official announcement will be made on the Diablo 4 Switch 2 port, and understandably so as Nintendo typically hosts a rather hefty showcase in September. But many folks are hoping for a dedicated Ocarina of Time showcase in September instead, while others are suggesting the Diablo 4 announcement is slated for Gamescom later this month.
