Walmart has now officially announced its Fall Deals sale and it’s going to be a big one. Landing just ahead of Amazon’s massive Prime Big Deal Days sale, Walmart will launch a weeklong competitor sale a day earlier and has some early deals up right now.
Both Amazon and Target have already made major fall sale events official. Amazon’s massive fall Prime Day sale will go live on October 6 for a 48-hour event featuring millions of price drops with loads of early deals already live. Target will go live for the same 2-day period, but will also deliver early access to paid Target Circle 360 members on October 5. And now we have some details on what to expect from Walmart.
When is the big Walmart Fall Deals sale?
Walmart Fall Deals will go live on October 5 – one day before Amazon – and run for an entire week this year, right through to October 11.

What is Walmart Fall Deals?
Walmart’s Fall Deals is exactly what it sounds like – a giant fall sale event with a countless number of markdowns across just about every product category it sells. It is typically just referred to as Walmart Deals in the summer and Walmart Fall Deals in October, both of which land in and around Amazon’s Prime Day events. This year’s summer sale also ran for an entire week and began before Amazon’s 2026 Prime Day sale.
What will be on sale for Walmart Fall Deals this year?
While we don’t have the complete list, you can largely expect the sale to reach every corner of Walmart’s offerings, from tech and TVs, to groceries and toys, apparel for the whole family, kitchenware, home goods and decor, and a large selection of Halloween candy, costumes, and more.

Walmart+ deals
If this sale is anything like the last Walmart Deals event, you can also expect some kind of promotion on its Walmart+ membership, which will quite possibly include early access to select deals during the sale.
