Report: Rockstar plans to release GTA VI on PC in early 2027

We know the highly-anticipated (to put it lightly) Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PS5 and Xbox this November. The Switch 2 version has been long rumored but remains unlikely. So when is GTA VI releasing on PC? A new report suggests much sooner than some would have thought.

Most folks assume GTA VI will come to PC at some point or other, but how long it will take after it lands on console is still a major question.

GTA V took roughly 19 months to come to PC after the initial console release and that would put the GTA VI PC release somewhere in and around June 2028.

But, based on a recent report from GamesBeat, Rockstar is actually planning to launch its neon-soaked open-world Bonnie and Clyde game much sooner than that.

The outlet has apparently “confirmed” that Rockstar is planning to release the PC version of GTA VI in the first quarter of 2027, within roughly 6 months of the console launch, according to four of its anonymous sources familiar with Rockstar’s plans.

We cannot confirm any of these details as of right now, but this is what sounds like the first solid indication the PC version will be landing much sooner than some expected.
