Nintendo Switch is finally ready to take the world by storm tonight for the long-awaited launch day, with consoles and the Mario Kart World bundle set to go live at Walmart once again, so let’s take a quick look at the availability on the official accessories while we are at it.

Loads of 9to5Toys readers were able to score a pre-order already, but if you didn’t you will have a chance to land one in under 48 hours now. Game Traveler’s officially licensed RDS cases and accessories have been go-to options at affordable prices throughout the current Switch generation, and now with the next-gen set for release tomorrow, the new Switch 2 RDS case collection has arrived. The release for the long-awaited next-generation Nintendo console is fast approaching now, so let’s take a look at the complete Switch 2 day 1 launch game collection. Update 6/4: HORI’s officially-licensed Nintendo Switch 2 Piranha Plant Camera is now back in-stock at Walmart.

The all-new Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is cool and all. It has some sweet tracking features, appears to seamlessly integrate into a number of Switch 2 exclusive games, and we had a blast testing it out in person yesterday alongside Switch 2. But it’s not a Piranha Plant, and it can’t close its mouth like this official-licensed HORI Switch 2 cam that recently surfaced online. 

Today, during the PlayStation of Play, Sony officially revealed Project Defiant, the “the first wireless fight stick designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PS5 and PC.” Scope out the details down below.

We already assumed that Switch 2 would being live at midnight online tonight, but now GameStop has made it official. Best Buy has confirmed it is only offering units in-store tonight, Target said it won’t have units online until June 6, and Walmart has confirmed units will be available on June 5 without quite mentioning the midnight ET start time we expect, but GameStop will for sure.

Today is the day folks and it all starts very soon. The big Summer Game Fest shows takes the stage on Friday followed by the Xbox showcase this upcoming Sunday, but Sony is kicking off the big summer gaming showcases today before the Nintendo Switch madness ensues later this evening and tomorrow.

Now less than 48 hours from the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, we have some potentially great news for folks who might have had their initial Walmart pre-order cancelled. It seems the retailer is now reversing these cancellations and giving folks a chance to secure their initial pre-order after all. 

Walmart has now officially confirmed with 9to5Toys that it will be offering Nintendo Switch 2 consoles both online and in-store this week. We very much expected Walmart to get in on the action, but it was all speculation up until now.

Update 5/30: While they were already available for pre-order back in April, Arc is officially launching the new Arc Pulse Samsung S25 Ultra bumper cases today. They are now scheduled to begin shipping now.

Today, Arc is launching its wonderful metal Arc Pulse bumper cases for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones. Up until now, the Arc’s special brand of smartphone protection has only been available on iPhone models, the latest Google Pixel 9 devices, and previous-generation Galaxy handsets, but it is finally ready to begin taking orders on the new S25 Ultra Arc Pulse Bumper Cases. Before you too riled up, not all orders are being cancelled here. The one week countdown to the release of Nintendo Switch 2 is officially on. After years of waiting, and a countless number of rumors and leaks, the Switch 2 release is finally upon us and, while we would have liked to start our countdown off on a happy note, we thought it more pertinent to launch this PSA – loads of folks who thought they secured a Switch 2 pre-order last month are starting to see pre-orders getting cancelled.

Nintendo has a decent selection of updated Switch 2 games scheduled to hits next-generation console as Switch 2 Editions in the coming months. Zelda BotW and Tears of the Kingdom being the two primetime titles alongside upgraded versions of Kirby and the Forgotten Land as well as Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV – and Nintendo just debuted a brand new trailer for the latter. Some credible sources already tipped us to upcoming Switch 2 stock at Target, but now it’s official. The national retailer has now updated its Switch 2 landing page on the official site with some details on when you can expect to get another chance to land Nintendo’s highly sought-after next-generation console, in-store and online.

Sony officially announced this year’s Days of Play sale, including the first price drops on PlayStation 5 Pro and some notable discounted PlayStation 5 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundles that deliver up to $120 in savings. The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundles are actually already live at Walmart right now ahead of the May 28 start time, with as much as $120 in savings – this includes the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and the Disc Edition both with an included copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. These are easily some of the best values we have seen in PS5 console hardware in quite some time alongside the Astro Bot bundles that are now out of stock. 

As we reported previously, Best Buy has already officially confirmed with 9to5Toys regarding details on more Switch 2 console stock coming available on launch day as part of its midnight release event. It has now also sent over some official imagery of the collectible coin select lucky customers will get a chance at that night as well.

Joining some ongoing $100 and $200 price drops on the more affordable storage configurations of Apple’s latest M4 iPad Pro, the higher-end configs have now dropped even lower to deliver some notable deals at Amazon. The first models that caught our eye were the 1TB and 2TB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro – you’re looking at up to $300 in savings off the list prices.

While Best Buy, Target, and GameStop have all now confirmed more Switch 2 units will be in-stock for launch day (and potentially online the following day on June 6), Nintendo is going to offer its new console and accessories directly too. It has announced that its two flagship stores in New York City and the recently launched location in San Francisco will also be selling Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, software and accessories, and not just on launch day. 

Today Twelve South is debuting its all-new PowerCord – an elegant “all-in-one power solution delivering sleek design and built-in charging. Twelve South has long been among our favorite Apple and tech accessory makers, and today is introducing a simple and to-the point new charging product known as PowerCord. 

Early this year at CES 2025 Satechi unveiled its new OntheGo travel chargers, complete with a fold out design and 15W Qi2 MagSafe charging. The form and function isn’t particularly unique, but Satechi is one of the best in the game when it comes to Apple gear accessories, and now that the new OntheGo is up for purchase to all, we wanted to give them a go for ourselves.

Target is now expected to have more Switch 2 stock up for grabs in the coming weeks. Now just over 2 weeks away from the official June 5 launch date, a reliable source is calming that Target will indeed have units available soon for folks who didn’t manage to land a pre-order last month.
