D-Link has just launched its new Wi-Fi Smart Plug designed to offer users full control over their electrical outlets via the free mobile apps. The small adapters communicate with any existing WiFi network and plug into any electrical outlet. The user can then control power to any of the devices plugged into the adapter.

They come with a few handy features along with basic on/off control. You can create custom schedules for particular outlets and monitor your energy use on connected devices.

You can set device schedules so that you walk into a brightly-lit home every day after work with your favorite song playing and the AC exactly where you want it.

The system also includes a thermal protection system that allows you to manually shut down power on an outlet and includes a thermal sensor that will automatically turn off over heating appliances.

The D-Link Wi-Fi Smart Plug comes in at a slightly lower price tag than the popular $60 WeMo options from Belkin. Today, Nintendo announced some price drops coming to some its most popular 3DS titles. Its top three best-selling 3DS games of all time in the US: Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land and New Super Mario Bros. 2, along with Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will be getting an official price drop starting April 22 to $29.99 each. Nintendo says customers should see the price drop reflected in both the eShop via 3DS and various retailers.

The 25% price drop sounds enticing, especially for those looking to catch up on some solid 3DS titles, but we have seen most of these titles drop below $30 already from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and others. First party Nintendo titles don’t see discounts nearly as often as other games and platforms, so there is a good chance we could see listings for these particular titles dip even lower following the scheduled price.

While $30 for anyone of these games is a good price considering the value of Nintendo’s well crafted first party games, and is even lower than some current listings, it might be smart to watch out for some even deeper discounts in the weeks after the official sale begins.

MLB Advanced Media has released R.B.I. Baseball 14 for iOS today. Back in January the developer announced it would be reviving the nearly 20 year old franchise, along with its simple but engaging gameplay mechanics. Logitech has recently introduced its new Bluetooth Audio Adapter, which enables simple Bluetooth pairing with an existing speaker system. The tiny audio streaming device comes with multipoint Bluetooth technology allowing it to talk to multiple devices at once and will connect to any speaker system with RCA or 3.5mm inputs.

The Bluetooth Audio Adapter’s mini form factor (2 x 2 x 1-inches) is just big enough to house the split left and right RCA and stereo 3.5mm output jacks, along with the AC connection.

There is also a small square button on the top of the unit for pairing a device up for the first time. According to Logitech, the Audio Adapter will automatically re-establish Bluetooth connection without the need to manually use the pairing function again. As far as range goes, Logitech’s spec sheet states it will work at up to 50 feet.
