Amazon is now offering the Chromecast streaming media player for $35 with free shipping. This total can be up to $6 lower than ordering from the Google Play store when you take into account potential tax savings (at time of purchase) and shipping costs.

This device will wirelessly beam movies, music, web content and more from Android, iOS, Mac and PC devices to any HDTV via a WiFi connection. As of right now the Chromecast supports Google Play, YouTube, Netflix, and Chrome, but Google promises future support for more services. 9to5Google notes that in some respects it is even more versatile than an Apple TV, “Unlike Airplay, the Chromecast stick allows to original device to turn off or go to sleep. Rovio has dropped a brand new update for Angry Birds today that brings a host of new levels as well as some interesting new gameplay mechanics to the “#1 IPHONE PAID GAME in more countries than we can count!”

The all new Red’s Mighty Feathers episode will bring players through 15 new challenging stages and introduce moving targets. This time, the wave after wave of Bad Piggies will be coming at you in 72 different flying contraptions (seen in the video above) that add a new level of nuance to that classic’s already addictive gameplay.
