The Apple Store now offers the Unlocked Apple iPhone 4S 16GB Worldphone in Black (pictured) or White for $649 with free shipping. It’s the first time we’ve seen the unlocked version of Apple’s latest iPhone for sale. Sales tax is added where applicable. A dual-antenna system has also been added, which purportedly provides faster downloads and improved call quality on both CDMA and GSM networks. It also features AirPlay Mirroring, Siri voice-activated assistant, an 8-hour battery life, and more.

Of note, the unlocked versions of the Apple iPhone 4S 32GB and the Apple iPhone 4S 64GB are available in Black or White for $749 and $849, respectively. All models qualify for free shipping and are scheduled to ship in one to two weeks.

Gameloft is offering their popular iPad game, “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard HD,” for a 99 cents.  Gameloft describes the game: “The iconic Rainbow unit finally lands on iPad! Apple announced price drops on its older iPhone models. With activation of a new 2-year contract, the iPhone 4 8GB is now $99, $100 off, while the iPhone 3GS is now free, a price drop of $99.

Today, Apple’s Phil Schiller announced the new Apple iPhone 4S Worldphone. In black or white, the phones are priced at 16GB for $199, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399 via Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T. Improvements include:
