I am not a big fan of MagSafe wallets in general, but these lockable models have been real attention grabbers around here over the last few months, and I thought it was time to see what all the fuss was about. Today we are hands-on with one of the more popular options known as the Spigen TinTap, so let’s dive in and see how this thing feels in action.

The GMMK 3 Pro HE, at least on paper, looks like the only keyboard you’ll ever need for your battlestation. It offers a fully customizable design, a durable aluminum case, gasket mounting with sound dampening material for a soft and comfortable typing experience, support for both MX and Hall effect switches, and more. It carries an expensive price tag, but it ticks almost every box for an enthusiast, ensuring it stands as a highly customizable option for all your needs. I’ve been using this as my primary keyboard for both work and play over the last few weeks, and I’m here to tell you whether it’s worth the premium price tag. Anyone who owns a home enjoys camping or works remotely should consider owning a portable power station, like the Andes 1500 from Ampace, for example. There has been some talk regarding a second screen functionality for Switch 2, you know, DS-style, but a newly surface patent filing is also pointing at potential magnetic smartphone integration for Nintendo’s new console. We have already seen details on some relatively new patents that all but confirm the magnetic Joy-Con and mouse mode, but it looks as though Nintendo could have some kind of magnetic attachment in the works that could enable a second screen functionality by way of your smartphone for Switch 2, and potentially and entire modular accessory holder system for other devices. 

If you grew up watching the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s like me, there’s a sweet memory of shooting hoops and wanting to dunk like Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. In reality, I can barely touch the rim on a ten-foot hoop, but thanks to the Pro Mini Basketball Hoop from BADGOAL, I was able to create my own dunk contest in the comfort of my home office… although my shooting could use a lot of work. FlashFinder is the latest gadget we have come across to implement Apple’s Find My tech. We have seen Find My come pre-loaded into everything from wallet tracking cards to carabiner clips, wall chargers, and more. It’s time for a look as the next-generation of portable SSD tech – the new LaCie Rugged SSD Pro5 with Thunderbolt 5 and break-neck speeds. While not the very first portable Thunderbolt 5 SSD out of the gate from one of our favorite brands – that nod goes to the OWC Envoy Ultra, the new LaCie is certainly one of the first new premium models sporting the same date transfer protocol as those ports on your new M4 Mac mini or M4 MacBook Pro (among other things). While the new LaCie Rugged SSD Pro5 did just arrive in our offices, we do have some early hands-on impressions to share. 

After we saw major price hikes across the portable SSD space in 2024, and finding myself in need of at least one more modestly-sized external storage solution, the PNY RP60 kept coming back up for a few reasons. But the most glaring details that had me leaning in its direction was the fact that it was a relatively new option from a relatively affordable storage brand – the RP60 is indeed one of the least pricey 1TB portable SSDs rated for speeds up to 2,000MB/s right now from a trusted brand.
