September is coming to a close and that means it’s time for Microsoft to reveal the October list of freebies for the Games with Gold Program. All together, there will be four games available on Xbox One and 360 next month. Head below for full details.

If you don’t already have a Xbox Live membership, be sure to grab a 12-month pass so you can take full advantage of all the benefits of the service. First up for Xbox One gamers, Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be available throughout the entire month of October. This puzzle adventure game typically goes for $15. Follow along as multiple characters must fight their way through the trenches as they try to survive.


Next up, The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will hit consoles for free on October 16th through November 15th. This game typically goes for $20. It has won of 90 Game of the Year awards and follows the same story line as the popular comic book series. Gamers will play as Lee Everett, a criminal that must survive in a new world ruled by the undead in this graphic adventure thriller. This title will also be available for free on Xbox 360 from October 16th-31st.


Previous generation gamers can also pick up Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes during the first half of the month. This is a $16 value for free. Kojima Production’s action adventure stealth shooter was released last year as a part of the famous Metal Gear Solid series. Follow along as Snake infiltrates American black sites in Cuba as he tries to save fellow agents.
