Amazon announces Prime Day perks for Whole Foods shoppers, including $10 credit

Amazon Whole Foods Black Friday

This morning, Amazon announced that it will be offering Prime members a $10 credit for use during Prime Day 2018. The exclusive bonus will be available for use during the 36-hour Prime Day window. Here’s the catch though, you’ll need to spend $10 or more at Whole Foods between July 11 and 17 to lock-in the discount. More details below.

In case you haven’t heard, Prime Day is just around the corner. Amazon’s largest shopping event of the summer kicks-off at 3PM EST on Monday, July 16th. This year’s sale runs for 36-hours with over 1-million deals coming down the pipeline. We’re celebrating by giving away a $100 gift card to one lucky reader. You can get the full details here on how you can win. We’ll be announcing the winner on Friday.

As we accurately predicted, Amazon is going to be offering a slew of discounts in-store at Whole Foods locations. Ever since the two partnered up last year, this seemed like a logic next step. You can also expect to see hefty discounts on Echo devices at brick and mortar Whole Foods locations next week, as well. Amazon has also confirmed that it will also offer deals on Fire TV, too.

Those with an Amazon Prime Rewards Visa will be able to save an extra 10% on all purchases made, totaling up to $400 during the week as well. This is a great way to sweeten this offer if you can get to a Whole Foods during Prime Day.

Whole Foods will also be following up its recently announced perks for Prime members with additional discounts on groceries:

  • Organic strawberries, 1 lb. container, 2/$5
  • Boneless chicken breasts, animal welfare rated, air-chilled, $3.99/lb., save 40 percent or more
  • Icelandic cod fillets, sustainably wild caught, $8.99/lb., save $6/lb.
  • Allegro bagged coffee, sustainably sourced, buy one, get one free
  • MegaFood Vitamins & Supplements, 30 percent off
  • RXBAR Protein Bars, 1.83 oz., all flavors, 2/$3
  • Waterloo Sparkling Water (12 pack 12 oz. cans), including flavors like lime and mango, 2/$7
  • Honey Nut Cheerios, buy one, get one free
  • Lesley Stowe Raincoast Crisps, 3 oz., $4.99
