Journey debuts new MOTION Apple Watch Sport band for sun, sweat, sand, and surf at $37.50 (25% off)

Update: Journey has informed us that stock is running very low on its new MOTION Apple Watch bands with the 25% off launch deal folks!

While it wasn’t in-stock or available as part of the brand’s July 4th sale, the new Journey Apple Watch band has arrived and it has a nice pre-order launch deal in tow. The new Journey MOTION Apple Watch Sport Band is set to begin shipping next week, but in the meantime, the official site is now offering a straight up 25% price drop to land one at what will almost certainly be the best price we track until the end-of-year sitewide events – Journey almost never offers more than 20% off its gear outside of Black Friday and these early bird specials. Journey debuts new MOTION Apple Watch Sport band

While the Journey vegan leather Apple Watch band seems to sell out constantly, you can now secure its brand new sport model at a discount. This time around the brand as taken on a more fitness or casual vibe made from a hypoallergenic FKM rubber. The FKM (fluoroelastomer) rubber band is joined by a zinc alloy closure pin the brand says is “carbon-friendly.” 

Here’s what the brand has to say about the FKM it is using:

FKM (Fluorine Kautschuk Material) is a high-performance fluoroelastomer with the comfort of silicone plus the added benefit of being antimicrobial, so say goodbye to skin irritation! FKM Rubber is also more resistant to heat and is less likely to attract dust than silicone, so it’s the right choice for someone looking for a comfortable rubber watch strap that looks good and lasts.

The new band is specially made for sun, sweat, sand, and surf with a 100% waterproof design – I’m not sure exactly what these brands mean by waterproof when it comes to a rubber band, but I guess it means it won’t take on water or disintegrate in wet conditions over time.

As far as styles and sizes here, the new Journey MOTION Apple Watch Sport Band comes in Light Gray, Marine Blue, and a vibrant Ultra Orange. There are large and small sizes to accommodate various wrist sizes and the brand says it is compatible with Apple Watch Ultra 1 and 2, Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and SE “to fit all current case sizes” from 38mm to 49 mm. 

There are no codes needed to redeem the discount as the price will drop from $50 down to $37.50 in the cart.
