Nintendo is now handing out a FREE month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. While it might not be the new GameCube title announcement you’re waiting on, both new Switch Online members and existing subscriptions can take advantage of this offer. Details below.
Firstly, let’s deal with those purchasing or redeeming a membership for the first time:
These folks can land a FREE bonus month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack access when purchasing or redeeming a 12-month individual or family membership.
To score this bonus month, you’ll have to login to a Nintendo account, then head over to this page and hit the “Activate the offer” button. From there, if you purchase a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership “before 7/28/26 at 11:59 pm PT” you’ll score the FREE month.
Complete purchase and activation during the offer period, in any order. Bonus month will be automatically added to account within 3 business days of membership purchase.
For existing members
Nintendo says existing Switch Online members “can also take advantage of this offer and unlock a free bonus month if you activate this offer and change from a Nintendo Switch Online membership to a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.”
Folks who are already a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack member can too take advantage of the FREE month “by activating the offer and renewing their membership or adding another year to their current one.”
Okay, I guess it’s not much, but there are some seriously great titles only available with the Expansion Pack and a free month is a free month of you ask me.
