Rare Switch 2 console discounts now live ahead of upcoming price hike (Up to $80 less)

The price of Nintendo Switch 2 is going up, this we now know for sure. And if you or anyone you know is looking to land a console before that happens, there are some deals right now. The Choose Your Game bundle and this deal at Woot using code NEW15 at checkout. Details below.

Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle

Quite possibly the best deal we are going to see all year on Switch 2 that anyone can take advantage of, the Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle is still readily available for purchase

  • Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle $499
    • Up to $530 value now, up to $580 value after upcoming price hike

For those unfamiliar, this is an official Nintendo bundle that packs in your choice of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia alongside the base Switch 2 console.

Switch 2 is scheduled for an imminent price hike in September that will see the base console jump from $449 to $499 with no game. That means that, while the Choose Your Game Bundle only delivers $20 or $30 in savings based on the current price of the console and the bundled-in games, it is actually as much as $80 less than it will be in a few months time (Mario Kart World is an $80 game, while Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Pokopia carry a $70 MSRP).

Woot Switch 2 deal

You’re going to need some games anyway, and the three in the Choose Your Game package are some of the best there is, but you can land a Switch 2 for less at Woot right now if you’re a new customer:

New to Woot? Use code NEW15 at checkout for an extra $15 off! Limit one coupon use per customer. Valid through 6/19/26 at 11:58pm CT or while supplies last. Valid only for customers making their first purchase on Woot.

This is the lowest price readily available to bring a Switch 2 home, and same logic applies here as well. This is only $15 off, but it is actually more like $65 off what will soon be the price of this console at retail.

I personally prefer the value on the Choose Your Game Bundle, but it is really only better if you know you want one of those three games.
