Back in late May Nintendo and LEGO official teased upcoming Donkey Kong sets. At the time it was unclear whether or not this would be some sort of expansion to the existing Super Mario theme or not, but since then it has started to become clear DK is getting his own sets entirely and the first image of the new LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade has leaked online.
Just after the official reveal of the first Pokémon sets with minifigs (pre-orders are now live on the official LEGO store and at Amazon), what appears to be the very first images of the new LEGO x Nintendo Donkey Kong sets have leaked online. More specifically speaking, the new 1,300+ piece Donkey Kong Arcade.
If these images and details are the real thing, and they usually are when it comes to leaked LEGO releases, we presume the first set in the new collaboration will be the LEGO 72051 Donkey Kong Arcade. It is apparently set for release (or going up for pre-order) on August 1, 2026 and will carry a list price at $199.99 shipped.
Here’s what the internet claims is the very first image of it:

Previous to the images surfacing today, some additional details hit the net that described the set as bringing characters like Jumpman, Donkey Kong, and “Lady” from the original arcade game to life alongside the girders, ladders, and barrels you might remember from the retro title. There are apparently functioning elements to the build as well, with a barrel-dropping function and a joystick to have Jumpman doing what Mario does best, jumping over barrels – none of these details are confirmed, but after the reveal of the functioning LEGO pinball table (and others), it is all entirely plausible.
