Nintendo unleashes new Star Fox Overview Trailer ahead of this month’s release on Switch 2

Nintendo surprised just about everyone last moth with a dedicated Star Fox Direct showcase out of nowhere. The new Switch 2 cinematic remake of the N64 game is officially set for release on June 25 and Nintendo has just unleashed a new Overview Trailer via the Nintendo Today app.

New Star Fox Overview Trailer

Nintendo gave us a pretty in depth look at the game last month during the surprise Direct, but it clearly has more to show with today’s new trailer.

The new 7+ minute look at the game gives as some fresh insight on the experience, including the updated visuals and more cinematic approach to the original N64 experience. This is more than likely going to be the last full look at the game ahead of release later this month. There will certainly be a launch trailer of some kind, but today’s trailer give us more on the game’s story, the R-Wing ship and submersible craft, a new look at the Star Fox mercenary squad – the other main characters, and some additional gameplay details as well.

As of right now, the trailer is only available on the Nintendo app, but it will hit YouTube shortly and we will update this post when it does:. Update: The new Overview Trailer is now live and you can check it out below:

You can still pre-order the new game at a discount via Amazon and Walmart

Now, we just need Nintendo to announce a massive June summer Direct.
