Joining some ongoing $100 and $200 price drops on the more affordable storage configurations of Apple’s latest M4 iPad Pro, the higher-end configs have now dropped even lower to deliver some notable deals at Amazon. The first models that caught our eye were the 1TB and 2TB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro – you’re looking at up to $300 in savings off the list prices. 

While we are still tracking some $100 price drops and all-time lows on the latest Apple M3 iPad Air lineup, we just spotted a particularly notable clearance price on the still perfectly capable M2 iPad Air. Now at the best price we have ever tracked on Amazon, you’ll find the 512GB 11-inch M2 iPad Air with the Wi-Fi + Cell upgrade down at $699 shipped – that’s a wild price on a tablet that carried a $1,049 list price not more than 3 months ago. 

While Best Buy, Target, and GameStop have all now confirmed more Switch 2 units will be in-stock for launch day (and potentially online the following day on June 6), Nintendo is going to offer its new console and accessories directly too. It has announced that its two flagship stores in New York City and the recently launched location in San Francisco will also be selling Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, software and accessories, and not just on launch day. 

Today Twelve South is debuting its all-new PowerCord – an elegant “all-in-one power solution delivering sleek design and built-in charging. Twelve South has long been among our favorite Apple and tech accessory makers, and today is introducing a simple and to-the point new charging product known as PowerCord. 

Early this year at CES 2025 Satechi unveiled its new OntheGo travel chargers, complete with a fold out design and 15W Qi2 MagSafe charging. The form and function isn’t particularly unique, but Satechi is one of the best in the game when it comes to Apple gear accessories, and now that the new OntheGo is up for purchase to all, we wanted to give them a go for ourselves.

Target is now expected to have more Switch 2 stock up for grabs in the coming weeks. Now just over 2 weeks away from the official June 5 launch date, a reliable source is calming that Target will indeed have units available soon for folks who didn’t manage to land a pre-order last month.

While Switch 2 is still just over three weeks out from launch, a new report suggests Samsung has already been pushing to get an OLED display on the new console. While Nintendo decided to launch and debut the Switch 2 with an upgraded LCD display, its main electronics manufacturing partner already has its eye on the Switch 2 OLED launch. 

While there does appear to be some folks still receiving emails directly from Nintendo to pre-order Switch 2, but looks like the next notable chance to land one is going tor launch day, and another major retailers has confirmed it will have more units up for grabs.

Sony is reportedly hard at work on a new PlayStation handheld console to take on Nintendo Switch 2 and the rest of the portable PC gaming space. The latest details are pointing at a proper PlayStation handheld this time around, not just a sort of companion streaming device for your home console like the PlayStation Portal Player. 

As we detailed previously, not only are there new Switch 2 Edition games, Switch 2 exclusives, and Switch 1 games you can play on your next-gen Nintendo console, but there are also a series of first-party Switch games getting FREE updates for Switch 2. This we already knew, but at the time Nintendo was incredibly vague about what these updates actually were, and now we have official details. 

Nintendo’s Switch 2 launch game lineup features more than a few major AAA ports of already released titles, and it sounds like the open-world wild west epic Red Dead Redemption 2 might soon be one of them. Developer Rockstar has been supporting the Switch for years and is already on record stating its “long-standing relationship with Nintendo,” but the latest suggests RDR2 might be its first launch on Switch 2.

We are now tracking the best Amazon price of the year on the silver Samsung Galaxy Watch FE at $149.99 shipped. Regularly $200, this is $3 under our previous mention, $50 below the list price, and the best we can find. Sony has now officially unveiled the new WH-1000XM6 headphones. What might be the most anticipated pair of headphones in the last year has finally arrived as a follow up to some of the most cherished over-ear ANC cans in the business. This time around featuring a new, faster processor, enhanced noise cancellation, even better call quality with upgraded AI noise reduction, and a nicer, more compact design, the question is whether or not all of this and another jump in price will have fans trading out their beloved XM5s (or something from the other brands) for the new XM6.

Today we are taking a look at what some might consider a more affordable Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller alternative, the HORIPAD Turbo for Nintendo Switch 2. While I was a fan of the original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and our early hands-on impressions of the latest model are favorable, it is in many ways just a regular controller for Switch 2, an official one sure, but for the most part just your average gamepad that delivers a more traditional feel, and one that will cost you $85 to pre-order. 

NBC Universal might have just accidentally confirmed the name of the upcoming Mario movie sequel as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations. The Super Mario Bros. movie took the gaming world and the silver screen by storm back in 2023, and we might have a better idea of what Shigeru Miyamoto meant when he said the team was “thinking about broadening Mario’s world further” for the sequel.

Yesterday we spotted the official Best Buy Switch 2 landing page specifically mentioning more console stock was inbound for launch day. Best Buy then quickly removed this mention altogether leaving most folks confused as to whether or not this was some kind of mistake or if it realized it wasn’t going to have any more units come next month. Best Buy has now confirmed a Switch 2 re-stock. Pre-orders came and went quite quickly on the eve of April 24 last month with a quick, and particularly short-lived re-stock at Walmart the following weekend, but stock has been essentially gone since then. Update: Death Stranding 2: On The Beach pre-orders are now live at Amazon.

Some six years after the release of the original Death Stranding, we are now just over a month out from the worldwide debut of the next Kojima epic, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. And with Kojima’s close partnership with the PlayStation team, it was only a matter time before the official Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Limited Edition DualSense controller was revealed. 

Today might be your last chance to secure a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order folks. Switch 2 pre-orders came and went awfully quick at the tail end of last month. While we did catch a quick re-stock at Walmart that more than a few 9to5Toys readers were able to take advantage of the following weekend, console pre-orders in the U.S. (and basically everywhere else) have been long gone since then. Most major retailers, including Walmart, have now updated their Switch 2 console listings to ready for launch day – this appears to be the next chance we’ll have to score one at retail, but there is still a chance to land a pre-order, is not a big chance, but there is still hope as Nintendo’s invites will go out starting tomorrow. 

The looming and rumored upcoming release of the Sony XM6 headphones are easily the most anticipated thing in personal audio thus far in 2025. Leaks, rumors, and datamined details have been surfacing across the web in full force over the last few months (and well before that) but a listing for the new headphones quickly popped up on Amazon Spain over the last several hours, all but conforming an imminent release while also leaking a potential release date and the specs of the beloved next XM series headphones.

Now under one month before the official release date, Nintendo has officially reveled all of the new user icons it is introducing for Switch 2. As part of today’s update in the official new Nintendo Today! app on iOS and Android. 

Just after officially delaying the new most highly-anticipated title in gaming, Rockstar has finally unleashed the second Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer. Simply entitled Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2, you can watch the new GTA VI footage down below. 

The Backbone One has largely remained on the short list of the best mobile controllers out there for quite some time, but today the company is going next-generation with the reveal of the new Backbone Pro. The controller carries some added functionality, deeper integration on a wider array of platforms, wireless connectivity, and complete customization. Microsoft has taken to the official Xbox Wire to announce that Gears of War: Reloaded is landing on Xbox, Steam and PlayStation 5 this summer. Reloaded, as the name suggests is a complete remaster of the original Gears game from nearly 20 year ago now, and Xbox is ready to launch it across all platforms (other than Switch 1/2) as well as Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. 

While we are still tracking the 512GB 13-inch model at $200 off, the more affordable 11-inch M4 iPad Pro models don’t see deals quite that deep. So when we spotted the silver 512GB 11-inch M4 iPad Pro drop down to $1,044 shipped at Amazon it immediately caught our eye. This is a regular $1,199 configuration now at the lowest price we can find. 

The Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 is going up for pre-order today at Amazon for Star Wars Day 2025. During a special presentation in Japan, Ubisoft revealed the game’s new A Pirate’s Fortune expansion pack for all platforms while also confirming the game is coming to Switch 2 later this fall.
