Sony officially announces major hour-long State of Play for this week

Today Woot is offering one of its best prices to date on the 4-pack of Samsung’s SmartTag 2 item trackers. We saw this bundle drop to $58 during the Black Friday deal season last year, but today you can grab four of them for $44.99 Prime shipped – that’s $11.25 a pop. 

We have caught a couple of opportunities to land the more affordable 13-inch M5 iPad Pro models at $150 off in new condition, however the 11-inch models have rarely sold for better than $100 off. While that remains the case on the 256GB and 512GB storage options at the moment, Amazon is serving up a new all-time low on the 11-inch 1TB model today at $150 off the list price. 

There are still some great deals on new condition Apple Watch Ultra 2 models, as well up to $150 off Best Buy open-box Ultra 3 units. But considering how capable the new Ultra 2 still is, we wanted to make sure this offer courtesy of a top-rated eBay seller was on your radar – this “excellent – refurbished” black Ultra 2 is over $400 off the list price right now. The same watch in Amazon Renewed Premium condition with a 1-year warranty is down at $459 shipped.

You’ll still find solid $50 price drops live on all four colors of the latest Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 with Find My and the onboard heart rate sensor. That’s the second-best price we have ever tracked in brand new condition at Amazon, but the Best Buy “excellent” condition open-box price just dropped even lower – you can now land a set at $122 off the list price. 

Apple’s new M5 Pro chip is likely coming, and potentially very soon based on recent reports over at 9to5Mac, but if you would rather score a deep deal on the M4 Pro instead, we spotted a good one this morning. B&H has now launched its giant 3-day Mega Deal Zone sale and it’s offering 24GB/1TB M4 Pro machines at $400 off the list price. 

Apple just started to sell iPhone 16 and 16 Pro/Max units in its official refurbished store over the last week or so, and there are some solid offers there, but nothing nearly as good as you’ll find from Amazon. We have already featured some deep Amazon Renewed Premium iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max deals, but this morning we are landing with some more affordable offers on iPhone 16 – Amazon has the 512GB model down at $679, or $420 under the original launch price and $320 less than the comparable iPhone 17.

Joining its ongoing Valentine’s Day sale, the official Anker Amazon storefront is now offering some solid price drops on its flagship 3-in-1 Anker Prime MagSafe Charging Station. The latest display-equipped Qi2 25W charging setup carries a $230 list price, but is now 30% off via Amazon. 

Apple just recently started selling iPhone 16 Pro models in its official refurbished storefront online, and you can certainly score one in there for less than the new retail price, but not nearly as low as over at Amazon. We were lucky enough to attend a private hands-on Nintendo event to try out the new Mario Tennis Fever, among other things. Amazon has now officially launched its new, smarter, and more conversational Alexa+ AI assistant nationwide as of this morning. JBL is well known for its Bluetooth speaker lineup as well as its larger party and PA-grade sound systems, but it is looking to combine the two with its BandBox releases. A couple weeks ago we got our first good look at the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie after the world premiere trailer landed late last year. We also got our first official look at Yoshi and now Nintendo and Illumination have just uploaded another new quick look at the upcoming galactic Mario adventure. 

All you Trainers better start saving those Pokédollars – Stern just teased what is almost sure to be a series of epic new officially-licensed Pokémon pinball machines. 

As spotted by our cohorts across the virtual hall, Sony appears to have just essentially confirmed its upcoming WF-1000XM6 earbuds with a new teaser trailer on its official YouTube channel. While it hasn’t precisely stated as much, the tech lurking in the shadows here is almost certainly its next-generation earbuds. 

Nintendo is continuing to update its popular Switch 2 GameCube library and now that we have moved into 2026 it’s time to take an updated look at the lineup. 

Nintendo hosted its first Partner Showcase Direct this morning with a series of updates and announcements. While we now have official confirmation of a host of Bethesda tiles landing on Switch 2 after around a year of speculation – Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, included – it also quickly reminded folks about the Hollow Knight – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. 

Nintendo officially confirmed this week’s Nintendo Direct showcases yesterday, and it is set to go live this morning. Rumors and predictions pointed at an official livestream hitting the airwaves in the first week of February and that it very much is, with a full 30-minutes of updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 games.

We are looking at over 1,700 games and DLC add-ons for titles you already have with deals starting from just $1.99. You’ll find everything from add-on content for recent releases right though to full-on games like the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 at 40% off the list price – it is now down from $60 to $35.99.
