The big Target spring sale will kick off this weekend and we now have a nearly 50 page ad detailing loads of upcoming deals. Nintendo just released Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Switch 2 GameCube library. We just got our next good look at The Super Mario Galaxy Movie in this morning’s Direct – including a first look at Yoshi! – but we are also now seeing pre-orders live on Amazon for Nintendo’s new Talking Flower. 

Many of the rumors surrounding the next-generation Xbox are, at least seemingly, coming true. Microsoft and the newly appointed head of Xbox have already confirmed Project Helix is well into development and that it will indeed be able to play both Xbox and PC games. What that means exactly is still unclear, but we do have new details directly from Xbox on everything from a hint at the release window, the machine’s dual-functionality, and even some actual specs here today. 

A new LEGO PlayStation set is reportedly coming this year. Nintendo has now officially announced its Mario Day 2026 plans and the official eShop sale is already live. But the physical game deals are scheduled to hit on March 8 – that’s this upcoming Sunday – and today’s Target weekly ad preview has them on display. 

Nobody likes tariffs (almost nobody anyway), and neither does Nintendo. According to reports flooding the interwebs today, Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government to get back some of those golden coins it lost when tariffs initially went in place ahead of the Switch 2 launch. 

The Mario 2026 festivities are in full swing already, with game sales already live on the eShop, Amazon, and at Best Buy. And with this year’s celebration landing in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game and the upcoming release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Nintendo has announced the next Nintendo Direct dedicated to Mario’s upcoming big screen adventure.

It’s not just you, Amazon appears to be down. At this point it seems like just the store is actually down, but it’s hard to say for sure.
