Bose expands SoundTouch WiFi music line with 10 new speaker systems, deeper app integration, and AirPlay support

Today, Bose announced a series of new audio products and software enhancements to its SoundTouch Wi-Fi music line. Not only are we getting hardware in the form of new one-piece and home theater/stereo systems, but also enhanced app and music service support.

The previously European-only Deezer music service made its way to the Sonos platform last month, and now it will be joining Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Pandora on Bose systems. The Bose mobile app updates come in the way of simplified mobile set-ups, enhanced song search and customizable frequency control among other things.

Today, Bose unveiled the SoundLink Color for only $129.95, making it the least expensive portable Bluetooth speaker ever from Bose.

It weighs just 1.25 pounds, and measures 5” wide, 2.1” deep and 5.3” high to fit easily into a handbag, knapsack or the palm of your hand. Bose combined exclusive dual-opposing passive radiators with two high-efficiency transducers for full-range sound, including deep, low-note performance.
