Sony has just officially announced the 2025 PlayStation Black Friday deals. Some early details on this year’s PlayStation Black Friday sale have already surfaced by way of leaks, the PlayStation X account, and the official GameStop Black Friday ad, but Sony has now taken to the PlayStation Blog to officially detail this year’s deals – console bundles, controllers, PS Plus, games, and more, as well as the prices and start times. 

After leaking well ahead of time, Sony has officially revealed the 2025 Black Friday PS5 console bundle. And, while we are still awaiting an official announcement from Sony on everything else, it looks as though GameStop has effectively leaked the official 2025 PlayStation Black Friday deals.

The gaming retailer has now unleashed its nearly 20-page Black Friday ad loaded with Nintendo Switch game deals, an early look at the official PlayStation Black Friday offers, and much more, while also officially launching its early Black Friday sale that is now live on its official site from $10. The next major Nintendo Switch 2 release is quickly approaching with the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond set to land early next month. Now just under 3 weeks from launch, and just after Nintendo unleashed the recent Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – Survive trailer we featured, a brand new Metroid Prime 4 Overview trailer has just released on the Nintendo Today! App – we are assuming it will be up on its YouTube and X channels very soon (if it isn’t already). 

Red Dead Redemption – Rockstar’s Wild West epic – has been available on Switch for a couple years now, and after details leaked on the ESRB site suggested it would be receiving a native Switch 2 port very soon, Rockstar has made it official – Red Dead Redemption is coming to Switch 2 (and a bunch of other platforms) next month.

The official Nintendo Black Friday 2025 deals have now been announced! The official Nintendo Black Friday sale has yet to be announced, but it has now just launched a wide-ranging Square Enix sale on the eShop with some notable and rare deals. Alongside loads of Final Fantasy classics, OCTAPATH TRAVELLER discounts, and a series of Dragon Quest games, you’ll find a solid deal on THE LAST REMNANT Remastered down at $7.99 from the usual $20 as well as BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster for Switch 2 down at $31.99 from the usual $40. Noooooooo! After being delayed earlier this year, the most anticipated game, maybe ever, has now been delayed again. Rockstar has now announced that Grand Theft Auto VI has been pushed once again until even later in 2026. 

It appears as those some of the upcoming PlayStation Black Friday deals have leaked. Not only did PlayStation seemingly just post some quick details and key art for an upcoming PlayStation Store sale before it even went live, but the PlayStation 5 Black Friday console bundle has also surfaced online. 

Nintendo finally revealed the December launch date for the long awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond after nearly a year of waiting, and it just debuted a brand new trailer for the game you can check out below. 

Nintendo has now officially launched Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube Nintendo Classic library. As we reported previously, and after teasing the game months ago, Nintendo has launched the retro ghost hunting action right on (ahead of) schedule.

As soon as we get through the year, Resident Evil Requiem will quickly become the most anticipated thing in gaming, if it isn’t already, and no matter what platform you want to play it on. Alongside pre-order listings for the new RE9 going live across console and PC, a brand Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller has been revealed alongside the announcement of upcoming amiibo and details on the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses. Pre-orders for all platforms are starting to appear on Amazon and over at Best Buy.

As Nintendo previously announced, the next additional to the Switch 2 Nintendo Classics GameCube library is officially set for release tomorrow. Much as we predicted, the original Luigi’s Mansion for GameCube is arriving just in time for Halloween this year and all eligible Switch Online members with a Switch 2 will be able to dive in starting…as early as tonight.

It seems as though retailers are becoming more and more vague about what the actual deals will be come Black Friday in ads and early marketing materials. That said, some retailers still subscribe to the old school way of doing things and actually dish up specific prices on upcoming deals, and even the exact date they will go live. Costco is, to some degree, one of these retailers and it is already teasing a notable upcoming PlayStation 5 deal. 

It’s been 10 years since Fallout 4 released, and Bethesda thinks it’s a good time to re-release the game. Not only will the new Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition including all of the already released DLC packs and even some Fallout 4 Creation Club goodies, but it is also slated for release on Nintendo Switch 2.

The worst kept secret in Switch 2 ports is now official. After the better part of a year’s worth of leaks, rumors, and hints straight from Ubisoft, an official trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Switch 2 just hit the official Nintendo YouTube channel. 

Nintendo Direct goes live again this morning, and it’s all about the new Kirby Air Riders. As was officially announced earlier this week, Nintendo will livestream its next Direct presentation very soon on its official channels to give us another particularly lengthy look at the new Kirby racing title. 

Let’s take an updated look at all of the games confirmed for the Switch 2 GameCube library. Nintendo debuted the Nintendo Classics GameCube collection the same day Switch 2 launched this past summer with three titles and has steadily been updating it alongside the rest of the Switch Online retro libraries. 

After debuting its officially licensed Switch 2-compatible Express microSD earlier this year, Samsung is back again with another Express memory card called P9 Express. This new model is available in 256GB and 512GB capacities, and they’re both up for pre-order now at Amazon starting at $54.99 shipped. The 512GB variant is even seeing a launch deal down to $94.99 shipped with an on-page coupon. Deals on these Express microSD cards are hard to come by – and they often sell out quickly – so this is a great chance to secure one if you’ve been looking to boost your Switch 2’s storage. Just after revealing the next Nintendo Classics GameCube title, Nintendo has now announced a new FREE update for Pikmin 4 for Switch and Switch 2, alongside a FREE demo so you can try it all out.

Just as we previously predicted (and hoped for) Nintendo has now officially announced that Luigi’s Mansion is the next game coming to the GameCube Nintendo Classics library for Switch 2. We knew it was coming at some point, and what better time than Halloween? 

After giving us a complete detailed look at the new Kirby Air Riders, including the November 11, 2025 release date, Nintendo has just taken to the official Nintendo Today! App and X to announce the details on the next Direct – another dedicated Kirby Air Riders show ahead of launch. 

Ahead of the official Switch 2 launch, rumors suggested we could be seeing some official dual-screen action on Nintendo’s new console by way of a secondary USB-C port. We already know there are some not so perfect workarounds for using  second display on Switch 2, even your iPad, but the real question is, and has been for some time, when is Nintendo bringing DS to Nintendo Classics and how is it going to deal with the second display setup on those games? A new patent suggests something might already be on the works. 

Update 10/14: The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 release date has now leaked courtesy of a particularly reliable source – the game is expected to launch in Europe on December 5 – that likely means it will be right around then in the U.S. as well, if this date is indeed the real thing. This source also claims an official announcement will hit on or before November 7. 

Assassin’s Creed is in the news again to start the week, and this time it’s not for the somewhat controversial new Mirage Valley of Memory expansion – the Switch 2 version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has leaked again. And this time we get a look at the box art. 

It looks like every official upcoming Pokémon project in the works at GameFreak has leaked. Sources who claimed to have datamined the developer’s roadmap from internal files have released details on a series of as of yet un-announced Pokémon titles, including the official Gen 10 Switch 2 game, and a series of other titles.

The My Nintendo Store Switch 2 pre-order invites have gone out and that means the first chance to score one of the new wireless GameCube controllers has too, but the actual Switch Online GameCube library won’t launch until June 5 when the Switch 2 does. Nintendo announced that it would be bringing GameCube to its classics library for Switch Online + Expansion Pack members alongside the Switch 2, but there are a few things you need to know about it and we’ll have a look at all of the games we know are coming to the service thus far down below. 

Nintendo has now revealed a new set of Super Nintendo games landing on Nintendo Classics for Switch Online members. Last we checked in the Game Boy Advance lineup got a nice little update, but today we are turning our attention back to the iconic SNES with three new releases for the first October 2025 Games Update.

Microsoft is shaking things up with Xbox Game Pass, rebranding certain subscription tiers while also increasing the prices. The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 Broadcast delivered a series of new updates and add-on content coming to some major releases, but the headliner announcement was the reveal of Forza Horizon 6. 

It has been a long time coming, but Insomniac has finally given us a seriously good look at its Wolverine game, and it looks wild. Some may have felt it was going to sugar the experience, but this isn’t your neighborhood Spider-Man folks – this thing looks rough, raw, and extremely violent. Just the way we wanted it. 

At today’s State of Play showcase, which capped off with a brand new gameplay trailer for the Insomniac Wolverine game (it looks wild!), Sony also revealed the Pulse Elevate – “Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first wireless speakers for desktop gaming.”
