While we were already pretty sure of it after getting a couple early play sessions, reviews are starting to flood in and it looks like the Switch has its first real banger masterpiece with the new Donkey Kong Bananza. DK’s latest adventure will release across the country tomorrow, but if you still didn’t get a chance to score a console to get in on the action, you’re in luck. Best Buy is scheduled to have Switch 2 consoles back in stock tomorrow for Bananza day and you might be able to score a console and the game in one fell swoop. 

Nintendo’s Today! app has delivered some notable reveals since it was first introduced earlier this year. One of which was the official confirmation of the upcoming live-action Zelda movie, right before it delayed the official release date to May 7, 2027. Fast-forward to today, and Nintendo has revealed who it is casting to play the titular character and the Hero of Light. 

After officially debuting the sweet PS1-style 30th anniversary PS5, PS5 Pro, DualSense controller, and the PlayStation Portal back in September, the classic edition PlayStation hardware has become incredibly difficult to get a hold of. Apple’s updated MagSafe charger, introduced alongside the iPhone 16 lineup last year, is currently the only magnetic wireless charger capable of delivering up to 25W of power. That’s about to change, though, as UGREEN has announced the world’s first Qi2.2-certified power bank. According to the brand, its new MagFlow magnetic power bank will also support up to 25W wireless charging – putting it in direct competition with Apple’s latest MagSafe offering. Just about everybody is still waiting on the next big first-party Switch 2 exclusive reveal. We have have the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A inbound this fall, and presumably the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond in and around that time, but many Switch 2 gamers, myself included, are still waiting for that big Mario announcement (Zelda is likely still a ways off by most approximations). Just a little over a month after the official announcement, we now have an idea of how much the upcoming Xbox-branded ROG Ally handheld consoles may cost. As highlighted in a new report, it appears as though Google Search pulled some results from ASUS’ website and listed the Xbox Ally X and Ally at €899 and €599, respectively. It’s going to be a relatively big week for Nintendo and Switch owners as Donkey Kong Bananza is set to hit store shelves on Thursday. Reports are surfacing all over the internet about what could very well be a detrimental flaw in the Nintendo Switch 2 design with regards to overheating issues. After Donkey Kong Bananza releases next month on July 17, the summer Switch 2 release schedule is looking a bit thin if you ask me. That said, Nintendo just unleashed a new trailer for its upcoming Drag X Drive in the Nintendo Today! app officially revealing the August release date. 

Following the announcement of its new Xbox PC gaming handheld, Microsoft has now confirmed that it’s testing a new aggregated game library in the Xbox PC app for Windows 11 PCs and handheld devices. Officially confirmed via the Xbox Wire, the move is designed to improve access to game libraries – not just on traditional PCs, but more importantly on Windows-based gaming handhelds like the Lenovo Legion Go and ROG Ally. This is a welcomed move that’s expected to significantly improve the gaming experience on Microsoft’s upcoming handheld, and you can learn more about the aggregated game library below.

The Amazon July Prime Day sale is just over two weeks out now, we already have the details on Target’s competitor sale, Best Buy launched its members-only event this morning, and now we know what Walmart has planned. The retailer has now officially announced its big-time July sale as the simply named Walmart Deals event is now scheduled to take flight starting on Tuesday July 8 at 12 a.m. ET.
