Just before it unveiled its limited edition Dune Xbox gear, Microsoft announced that it would be broadcasting what sounds like a very special edition of the Xbox podcast. Hinting at details on the “future of Xbox,” Phil Spencer and friends are expected to be hitting the airwaves very soon with what could be some exciting (for some) news on the future of its gaming platform, exclusives titles, and more. More details below.

Pilots will be heading to the captivating world of Arrakis as part of a new Microsoft Flight Simulator expansion. Ahead of the release of Dune: Part Two next month, the Xbox and MFS team have announced a partnership with Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures that will take players “beyond Planet Earth into the harsh deserts of the world of Dune” alongside a new custom Xbox Series S with Dune-themed Ornithopter Stand and “world’s first floating Xbox controller.” Hit the jump for more details. 

Microsoft has now officially announced an upcoming Xbox business update event for later this week.
