June is here, and builders are already buzzing with excitement over the latest 50 LEGO sets that just hit the market, but today, we’re getting a fresh new reveal of an upcoming set that will likely have DreamWorks fans giddy for next month. Set to arrive hot on the tail of the new live-action movie, the LEGO Group has pulled the veil off the new Icons 10375 How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless build that is now open for preorders! It’s that time of the month again folks, as we prep for a new array of LEGO sets that will be hitting the shelves once the clock ticks over into June – and this coming month of releases promises to be one for the books. After the last few months of fewer numbers, June promises to be one packed with plenty of variety – with a large collection of 50 new builds! There are several sets already available for preorder, with the rest poised to open for purchase for LEGO Insiders once midnight rolls around, so head below to get the full roundup so you can start planning or locking down your sets ahead of their official releases.

In our continued countdown to the launch of Switch 2 later this week, we are issuing another quick PSA based on details from the official user manual. That screen protector on the Switch 2 when you open the box isn’t a screen protector at all, and Nintendo is warning users to never remove it. 

While we know Best Buy, GameStop, and (likely) Walmart will all be participating in the Nintendo Switch 2 launch next week, Target is perhaps going to be your best bet for scoring one online. We know the national retailer will be hosting a launch day celebration at its brick and mortar locations with a chance to actually buy a Switch 2 console, followed by availability online the next day, but it has now issued an official press release with additional details and what time you’ll need to be ready to land a Switch 2. 

Update 5/30: While they were already available for pre-order back in April, Arc is officially launching the new Arc Pulse Samsung S25 Ultra bumper cases today. They are now scheduled to begin shipping now.

Today, Arc is launching its wonderful metal Arc Pulse bumper cases for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones. Before you too riled up, not all orders are being cancelled here. The one week countdown to the release of Nintendo Switch 2 is officially on. Nintendo has a decent selection of updated Switch 2 games scheduled to hits next-generation console as Switch 2 Editions in the coming months. While Switch 2 is still just over three weeks out from launch, a new report suggests Samsung has already been pushing to get an OLED display on the new console. Sony is reportedly hard at work on a new PlayStation handheld console to take on Nintendo Switch 2 and the rest of the portable PC gaming space. The latest details are pointing at a proper PlayStation handheld this time around, not just a sort of companion streaming device for your home console like the PlayStation Portal Player. 

As we detailed previously, not only are there new Switch 2 Edition games, Switch 2 exclusives, and Switch 1 games you can play on your next-gen Nintendo console, but there are also a series of first-party Switch games getting FREE updates for Switch 2. This we already knew, but at the time Nintendo was incredibly vague about what these updates actually were, and now we have official details. 

Nintendo’s Switch 2 launch game lineup features more than a few major AAA ports of already released titles, and it sounds like the open-world wild west epic Red Dead Redemption 2 might soon be one of them. Developer Rockstar has been supporting the Switch for years and is already on record stating its “long-standing relationship with Nintendo,” but the latest suggests RDR2 might be its first launch on Switch 2. 

Update: Nintendo has officially confirmed via a statement that the Switch 2 only supports VRR in handheld mode. A Nintendo spokesperson shared this information with the folks over at Nintendo Life. The brand removed the mentions of VRR in docked mode from its official website, and confirmed the same via a statement with an apology for the confusion. What might be the most anticipated pair of headphones in the last year has finally arrived as a follow up to some of the most cherished over-ear ANC cans in the business. Some six years after the release of the original Death Stranding, we are now just over a month out from the worldwide debut of the next Kojima epic, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. And with Kojima’s close partnership with the PlayStation team, it was only a matter time before the official Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Limited Edition DualSense controller was revealed. 

After reintroducing the Area-51 desktop earlier this year at CES, Alienware has now unleashed a new range of gaming laptops under its Aurora brand. Today might be your last chance to secure a Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order folks. Switch 2 pre-orders came and went awfully quick at the tail end of last month. While we did catch a quick re-stock at Walmart that more than a few 9to5Toys readers were able to take advantage of the following weekend, console pre-orders in the U.S. (and basically everywhere else) have been long gone since then. Most major retailers, including Walmart, have now updated their Switch 2 console listings to ready for launch day – this appears to be the next chance we’ll have to score one at retail, but there is still a chance to land a pre-order, is not a big chance, but there is still hope as Nintendo’s invites will go out starting tomorrow. 

The looming and rumored upcoming release of the Sony XM6 headphones are easily the most anticipated thing in personal audio thus far in 2025. Leaks, rumors, and datamined details have been surfacing across the web in full force over the last few months (and well before that) but a listing for the new headphones quickly popped up on Amazon Spain over the last several hours, all but conforming an imminent release while also leaking a potential release date and the specs of the beloved next XM series headphones.
