Games/Apps: New Nintendo 3DS XL (black or red) $175, Fallout 4 $30, iOS freebies, more

In today’s best game/app deals, Amazon is offering the New Nintendo 3DS XL in black or red for $174.99 shipped. That’s about 14% off the original $200 price tag it still fetches at most retailers. This is matching the Amazon all-time low. It has the C-stick controls, a faster processor and plays all of the Nintendo 3DS games.

Other notables include Guitar Hero Live on Wii U for $32 Prime shipped (Reg. $40+), Sniper Elite III on Xbox One is down below $16 Prime shipped (Reg. $20+) and we still have Fallout 4 down at $29.99 Prime shipped on Amazon (Reg. $35+, within a dollar or so of the Amazon all-time low, current lowest we can find).

Unlike most App Store promos, Apple has now quietly kicked off one the largest iOS game/app sales we have seen this year. The news comes courtesy of participating app developer Readdle.

The sale includes 100 apps and games at “new low prices”, most of which are $0.99. While we have posted some of these titles over the past week in our daily/game app roundups, this is the first time they’ve all appeared together in one giant sale. Now is your chance to fill up your app library, as we are seeing all-time lows on games, productivity apps, photography apps and much more.
