Last week, Nintendo officially announced the new Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle offer, and it is now available for purchase – this basically the best and only deal on Switch 2.
Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle
The new Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle is very much what it sounds like – a Switch 2 console with your choice of game bundled in for what will soon be effectively free.
- Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle $500
- Up to $530 value now, up to $580 value after upcoming price hike
It is your standard Nintendo Switch 2 console with your choice of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia as a digital game download. Inside the box you’ll find a game download key, so you can go on the eShop and download one of these three, not arguably, top-tier Switch 2 games free of charge.
Bundle includes:
- Nintendo Switch 2 system
- Choose One! download code insert: Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia
- Joy-Con 2 (L) in Light Blue
- Joy-Con 2 (R) in Light Red
- Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
- USB-C® Charging Cable
- Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
- Joy-Con 2 Grip
- Joy-Con 2 Strap (×2)
- Ultra High Speed HDMI™ Cable
The new Choose Your Game Bundle was slated to be launching in June, according to Nintendo’s official announcement, but it appears to have arrived early.
Available only “while supplies last,” I think many folks consider this Nintendo’s offering to gamers before the imminent price hike goes like on Switch 2 later this year.
Just previous to the Choose Your Game Switch 2 Bundle reveal, Nintendo announced the price of Switch 2 on its own with no game will be increasing from $450 up to $500 starting later this in September. So while, as of right now, the Choose Your Game Bundle delivers $20 or $30 in savings over buying the console and the game individually, considering the console on its own will be the same price as this bundle in a few months from now, you’re effectively getting what will be a FREE $70 or $80 game here (Mario Kart World is an $80 game, while Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Pokopia carry a $70 MSRP).
If you’re still looking to land a new Switch 2 or perhaps a second one before the price hike, this Choose Your Game option might very well be the best option on a console that is unlikely to see straight up cash discounts.
