Nintendo went live this morning with its big summer Direct, and even if all you were waiting for was a big Zelda reveal, it did not disappoint. While we still haven’t received the release date for the new Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake remake yet (it is coming this year though), Nintendo’s new Star Fox game is definitely releasing in a just couple weeks now, and you can try it for FREE on Switch 2 starting right now.
Nintendo saved a slot in today’s Direct for its upcoming cinematic remake of the Star Fox N64 game, showing off a new trailer for the game ahead of its June 25 release date. But it also announced a FREE demo would be live so folks can give it a try ahead of time:
A battle for the fate of the galaxy begins! Blast off for adventure across the Lylat System with Fox McCloud and his crew in a free demo that includes a tutorial and one of the game’s opening stages.
Anyone with a Switch 2 can head over to the eShop right now and download a free demo of the game to give it a test flight before launch. It delivers the the full tutorial for the game as well as the Meteo campaign stage, and if you like what you see, there’s still time to pre-order a physical copy at a discount courtesy of Walmart:
